Live Wedding Painter

Each artwork is created with care, intention, and attention to detail. By commissioning an artwork or engaging with any services offered by Lida La Luna Art (“the Artist”), you agree to the following terms (in random order):
1. The Nature of the Work
All artworks are original, hand-crafted pieces. Variations in colour, detail, and expression are part of the artistic process and contribute to the uniqueness and authenticity of each creation.
2. Commissions
Commissions are confirmed upon written agreement (sent via email) and, where applicable, the receipt of a deposit.
Clients are kindly asked to provide clear and accurate reference materials (such as photographs or descriptions, sent at the time of the booking) to support the creative process.
Each artwork is created in the Artist’s signature style, with thoughtful interpretation and creative discretion.
3. Pricing and Payment
All prices are listed in ZAR and may be adjusted from time to time.
A non-refundable deposit (typically 50%) is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is payable before delivery or collection of the artwork.
4. Turnaround Time
Estimated timelines will be communicated at the time of booking. As each piece is created by hand, timelines may vary slightly. Should any significant delays arise, you will be informed with care and transparency.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Deposits secure your place in the Artist’s workflow and are therefore non-refundable once work has commenced.
Should you need to cancel, please do so in writing. Any potential refunds remain at the discretion of the Artist, depending on the stage of completion.
6. Revisions
Where reasonable, small adjustments may be accommodated. Requests for significant changes that alter the original scope of the artwork may incur additional costs.
7. Copyright and Artistic Rights
All artworks remain the intellectual property of the Artist.
The Artist retains the right to photograph and share completed work for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes.
Artworks may not be reproduced, resold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent.
8. Personal Use
Unless otherwise agreed, all artworks are intended for personal use.
If you share your piece online, a credit to Lida La Luna Art is warmly appreciated.
9. Shipping and Collection
Shipping costs, where applicable, will be communicated in advance.
While every effort is made to ensure safe packaging, Lida La Luna Art cannot be held responsible for delays, loss, or damage once the artwork has been entrusted to a courier.
Local collection may be arranged where possible.
10. Event Services (Live wedding/guest portrait paintings)
Bookings for live event services are confirmed in advance.
The Artist will serve as many guests as possible within the allocated time; however, the number of completed portraits cannot be guaranteed. Each portrait is a thoughtful, expressive interpretation created in the moment and painted with care. Any guest portrait not completed at the event will be completed in the week that follows the event, in the Artist’s personal studio.
11. Limitation of Liability
Lida La Luna Art shall not be held liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of its services or artworks.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
Each piece created through Lida La Luna Art carries story, memory, and meaning. Thank you for honouring not only the artwork, but also the process behind it.
